Reasons To Add Oats To Your Diet
Oats are very high in soluble fibers and healthy fats. (source) They are also effective when it comes to: (source)
- Optimizing cholesterol levels. Oats contain beta-glucan, which is extremely powerful when it comes to improving cholesterol levels and keeping them on the low.
- Preventing diabetes. Once again, all thanks to beta-glucan.
- Maintaining normal blood pressure.
- Maintaining a desired body weight. All that fiber helps make you feel full for longer and suppresses your appetite and sudden cravings, so oats are great for you if you’re looking to lose weight and prevent yourself from gaining it all back.
